Ukraine War Analytics is an independent, open-source research and data platform that:

• Aggregates and contextualises publicly available data on the Russia–Ukraine armed conflict;
• Publishes objective analytical content grounded in verified international sources;
• Does not generate or distribute propaganda, disinformation, or content intended to incite, glorify, or promote violence;
• Does not host graphic or shocking media (photographs or videos of deaths, injuries, executions, or torture);
• Does not represent the official position of Ukraine, Russia, NATO, the UN, or any other state or intergovernmental body.

3. Informational Purpose Only — No Warranties

All content is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

War data is inherently incomplete, contested, and subject to rapid change. Numbers presented on this Site — including casualty estimates, equipment loss counts, and territorial control assessments — represent best estimates based on available verified sources at the time of publication and may differ materially from actual figures. We expressly disclaim any liability for errors, omissions, or outdated information.

We are not responsible for any decisions made in reliance on information published on this Site.

4. Content Standards and Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use this Site to:

• Distribute, reproduce, or republish content in a manner that misrepresents its source, context, or purpose;
• Use data or analysis from this Site to support, fund, or plan any act of violence, terrorism, or armed conflict;
• Scrape or harvest content using automated tools in a manner that degrades Site performance or circumvents access controls;
• Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law;
• Impersonate Ukraine War Analytics or misrepresent an affiliation with the project in any communication.

5. Intellectual Property

Original written analysis, data visualisations, and site infrastructure produced by Ukraine War Analytics are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence, unless a specific page indicates otherwise. Under this licence, you are free to share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercially, provided you give appropriate credit with a link to the original page.

Third-party data, imagery, and quoted text remain the property of their respective copyright holders and are used under fair use, open licences, or with permission. Such material is attributed in-context.

The Ukraine War Analytics name, logo, and branding are not covered by the CC BY 4.0 licence and may not be used without written permission.

6. Advertising

The Site displays advertisements through Google AdSense and potentially other advertising networks. These advertisements help fund the operation of this free public resource. We do not endorse any product, service, or organisation advertised on this Site. Advertisers have no influence over our editorial content.
